What Would Henry the VIII Give

What would King Henry give

To live life like me?

We take things for granted

In the Land of the Free

Indoor plumbing,

and real fast cars

You can fly to another city

Just to see their stars

I live better than any old king

A great life with modern things

I got a doctor

For when I'm sick

I even have a TV

That's really slick

There are so many channels

From which I could choose

All I gotta do

Is find the time to lose

I live better than any old king

Living a Life he could never dream

With Air conditioning

That keeps me cool

I got a cash card

And I ain’t no fool

Electric tools

Make my life so nice

I’ve got good food

At a decent price

I live better than any old king

I wouldn’t trade for all his bling

I got a machine

To wash my clothes

I got electric socks

To warm my toes

If my head aches

I can take a pill

I love my life

It’s a great thrill

I live better than any old king

Just living my life and doing my thing
