an obligation to lust
needs losing
let the breath of creation touch you on the inside
instead
disguised in the knives of surgeons
are the weapons against aged beauty
gentle smiles heal whole worlds
lose apology for the ability to see
the downcast eye
that roves up again
lose close association with intolerant judges
lose hiding your beauty
because ignorance takes vicious offense at it
but doesn't know silent candle holding
shining
lose the willingness to be ugly
to soothe the small minded
unless it serves freedom
better than grace unleashed
lose fitting in
the boxes are open
on all sides
lose belonging
and ostracization is rendered flaccid
lose the future
lose memory
because it's the larger truth
that it will still be now
even then
