What to do, What to write

It’s not too late To follow the light

What to do

What to write

To not be blue

To not be glad

Without despite

Might be sad

Might be melancholy

Dreams of flight

And to be a soul

Those cries

That sigh

That longs for light

That keeps falling out of sight

By people who retaliate

To good

Praise hate

It’s not too late

To follow the light

To care for humanity

In 2026

We have criminals running the country

It’s political as can be that the criminals

Fight for the right to be free

To lie

To cheat

To murder

To gaslight

To eliminate the good

So, they can be free

To do as they please

To hurt

To steal

To abuse

It’s not too late to follow the light

Cause it’s not out of sight

But standing beside you at your will

And still the pen remembers

What the world forgets

 That light is stubborn,

That truth keeps breathing

 Even when the powerful

 Choke the air.

 The soul doesn’t vanish

Because darkness shouts louder;

It waits, steady,

Beside the one who

Still believes in the quiet work of goodness.
