What's in your hands?

Who are we to claim a hand that can depreciate value?

Gold is anything until we take hold

mine is too small for anything anyway

a mere touch poisons

I'm better empty

so then I could see

The blind can't

but I feel they know better than I do

My hands are empty

my thoughts are not

I wish, I pray

I could unsee

So then I could,

finally.
