Micropachycephalosaurus

He's so small he gets a chorus

His name's a stretch

But his height won't bore us

He's Micropachycephalosaurus

Snack sized dino

With a four course name

Small and cute

And not at all lame

Should anyone ask

"Who's among the smallest?"

It's an easy task

His name's the longest

It's Micropachycephalosaurus

He's so small he get's a chorus

His name's a stretch

But his height won't bore us

It's Micropachycephalosaurus

While homeschooling, my kids and I discovered the longest dinosaur name not only belonged to one of the smallest dinos, but he also had an enjoyably rhythmic name, (Micro-pachy-cephalo-saurus.) Thanks to the sing-song way we said his name, we can all tell you- to this day- about the three foot, plant eating dino from the Late Cretaceous Period, who holds the record for the longest name.
