What’s In a Cloud

The thoughts of a broken-hearted soul, sitting by a lake back in 2009

Silently sitting in the sky

A million places passing by

Through often several shades of grey, It’s never really gone away.

There’s essence from the sky to ground, yet eyes deceive it's not around.

Composed of sources, formed by earth

Presence felt not,

Until rebirth

Eyes feed belief of what's not here

And minds perceive its nowhere near

Convince your ears to hear what might

Does that exist what’s not in sight?

It’s said that much hides in plain view

Fail to look, succeed as shrew

Change not in hearts where not allowed

It asks much more than “what’s in a cloud.”
