What Now?

still chasing the sun

By Brenton FPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

i've fueled my dreams

i chased the sun

yeah i got burnt

but i'm not the only one

i have trekked the mountains

and held the trees

i have gazed upon

both sides of the seas

i looked through my fingers

i saw through the cracks

i saw all of the paths

the sequences; the tracks

i saw all the lights

the brightening of days

i saw each and every majik

the quickening of ways

i saw every night ever

painted on the then and the now

an acceptance of the face of value

it was always when not how

it was then i saw the new

suspicious and devisive

no auspicious merit

no benevolent intent

im still chasing the sun

burnt yes but not shy

the healing is slow

so is learning to fly

Chasing the sun and learning to fly! All my life. Isn't that the purpose of life? Supposed to be for everyone, I guess.
