with its woo.

when reaching for a feeling
which is in one's grasp.
What meaning is carried
when it surrounds thee
protects thee
in one's presence
translucent.
What meaning is carried
when this feeling is in its reachable form
but is guarded by a shield
expressed, felt
behind closed eyes.
What is it made to feel?
What meaning is carried
when there is no awe in one's eyes
when the face speaks doubt
and the voice has no sound.
What meaning is carried
when one is alive in pretense
and the other pretends to be alive.
What meaning is carried
when one truly loves
and the feeling is reached
but it is made to linger.
