She sits there

A vision of what was

Of what may never be

He looks

Wants to find out

Find her

He wants to see

He wants to know what was

She sits there

Perfectly still

Watching everyone who comes by

In and out

They all stare

She stares back

They see her

She sees everything

She sees him seeing her

He’s here

She’s not
