what makes you unique, inspired by hue?

being the only one of its kind

they may not like the true hue

when the emitted light is too bright

i remember overthinking

into false skies of blue

under the moonlight

i tell the truth about the part of me

that will not sleep at night

i laid forced to hide my love for the one who’s pain killed her dignity

note to self: i love her, not yet, i’m still too stingy

i became my very own breathe of fresh air

then changed one of my names to aqua

i tatted my name in cyan on the right side of my neck (to show them all how i’ll still prosper?)

bless the twenty somethings that taught me how to dream then act and dream again

i used to pity an existence until

internalizing cosmic sin/zen

god bless these twenty somethings i’ve now learned gratitude
