Baby smiles at you is life.
Finding your first love in the school corridor is life.
The smell of new books is life,
Rolling tears make up life.
The healing music is life,
Letting go of your past is life.
Sleepless nights, sweet dreams
And nightmares are life.
Feeling the warm sun,
Staring at the cold moon is life.
Spending time with friends and
Getting betrayed is life.
Being jealous is life,
Appreciating kindness is life.
Enclosing arms around you is life,
Tasting the taste is life.
Crying hard is life.
Smiling, laughing and enjoying is life...

The Block Mayor
Like every warm day, Terrence is finishing this day on his L-shaped porch, sipping whisky from a dented flask. Cars pass by slowly, and he watches young women pushing babies in strollers; he hears the neighbors’ arguments and knows which have a regular income and those who are unemployed. Terrence is the self-appointed block mayor, laying judgment on his fellow folk.
