12th century church alter in France, translation is “May your loving Lord be upon us, as hope is in you.“
Sometimes fleeting, the tangible feelings of faith are there.
At times deep in the soul, at other times on the surface of my very being.
Oh how I wish faith was as simple as drinking water, laid bare
Feeling the refreshing swallows cascade through me.
Music deepens my faith, stirs the vacant hollowness when needed most
Nature arouses my faith, reminding me of the simple, majestic beauty
That is always there, ready to satisfy.
The simple breeze, carrying the scents of the flowers and sounds of the birds, how could faith not exist with such evidence?
With hope, there is faith, and with faith there is hope.
May you find both hope and faith in the beauty around you.
