What If Your Deepest Secrets Were Revealed
"Shhh!" Can you keep a secret?
Lipstick and Fingerprints
Those were my fingerprints on the glass
And you told the world all I feared.
Champaign bubbles and my lipstick smeared.
I'm the good girl with bad tendencies.
I made the rules with my own contingencies
Silence takes only a bit of class
Did I not whisper my desire?
But at least I know you are a liar
A creep.
A deceiver.
But even as you gloat in victory,
I know the true history
behind that devious grin
And every treacherous win
manipulation,
plan.
Should I tell a tale
of how you really prevail?
You couldn't keep my secret.
Then you'll live your regret.
