What If I'm Wrong
An illusion or a dream?
What if I'm wrong, and all I believe
Is nothing but an illusion or a dream?
What if the truth lies far beyond
The boundaries of my perception's bond?
I may hold tight to my convictions
And cling to them with utmost conviction
But what if they're merely a mirage
That disappears with just a slight barrage?
Perhaps I need to open my mind
And let go of my biases that bind
To see the world in a different light
And realize what was once out of sight.
For only when I embrace uncertainty
And question everything with sincerity
Will I discover what truly is real
And find the answers that I long to feel.
So here's to being wrong, and learning
To seeing past my own discerning
For it's through mistakes and missteps
That true wisdom and knowledge are kept.
