What if
What a silly beginning
What if nothing
But there’s always something
under the words
below the skin
where I still feel you
growing
to oblivion
What if
Come on
What if nothing
There’s only now
and pieces of the past
and thoughts about the future
Tomorrow is as far as I go
and I’m exaggerating
as every unit of time
advances towards infinity
even before tomorrow
What if nothing
Indeed

Deep thoughts in flowing stanzas. Well done with articulating the What ifs and What is.
