The hair bands Poison and Warrant,
The Ford LTD Crown Victoria,
The Ford Tempo,
The Ford Escort,
The Ford Thunderbird,
The sweater dresses,
The leggings with skirts,
The exercise leggings with leg warmers,
The puffy hairdos,
The many days spent in elementary school,
The Subarus,
The Hondas,
The Datsuns,
The Nissans,
The Show American Bandstand,
The Show Soul Train,
The show 227,
The show Amen,
The show Dallas,
The gasoline being cheap,
The song "Electric Avenue" by Eddy Grant,
The idyllic childhood I had.

Gossamer
"Murray! Wake up!" He loved that period between waking and dreaming. To him, it was like entering another dimension; more of a dreamscape than dreaming itself. There was an otherness to it that he wanted to grasp and yet deeply respected the fact that it could never be his totally. This is what gossamer was; flighty and light, a wisp of smokiness, an idea suggested but not fully revealed, a slit in cloth, a copse in the wood.
