Promises from a forever mine.

A love which surpasses a spiritual high.
Lies.
A chance connection.
Lies.
A connection that proves it's worth in self hate crimes.
Lies.
A connection that makes a jilted heart kind.
LIES.
A connection that stands the test of time.
LIES.
Those long goodbyes and those wordless sighs.
LIES. LIES. LIES.
I’ve lived through it all and I am only left with
stitch marks that mark holes punctured by each bunny looped tie.
I tell myself "Never let truth and your heart misalign"
and yet, each time;
to myself,
I. Lie.
