What Else is There

verse 3

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

Last shot in the clip, last hope in the tank

Last prayer in the dark, last dime in the bank

But the fire still burning, still lighting the way

Still pushing through the night, still fighting the day

What else is there when the options run thin?

When the circle gets smaller and the chances get slim?

When the world turns its back and the lights start to fade?

When the price of the dream got you already paid?

Ain't no backup plan, ain't no safety net

Ain't no second chances, ain't no place to get

But the beat keeps knocking and the mic stays hot

And the words keep flowing from a place that don't stop

So I spit what I got, spit it raw, spit it real

Spit it like tomorrow ain't promised to be here

What else is there when the curtain might fall?

What else is there? Nothing That's the truth of it
