What do I do to be generous?

To be generous?

By Kisama Riyo Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

Under the stings of the years, the candles of longing melt inside me

Inside I feel like a cursed devil

I have committed a great sin that saddened me today

In my heart is a buried pain, the bottom line is that I am sick and ill

So, O spring, knock on my door so that I may cling to the firm hope

And do not leave me alone to achieve my great longing

O winter, leave me, for you make me live as a prisoner

And I who carried the wounds of the years alone as if I were an orphan?

So what should I do to get rid of you, O my buried sadness?

So what should I do to be on the straight path of God?

I cry from the stabs of the days like a wounded, yearning and longing person

And I know that my illness has made my pain a state of division

So what should I do to get rid of the glow of Salim's sun

And forget the wound of the past and have mercy on myself?

So what should I do to get rid of my habits that made me stingy

And get used to generosity and goodness to be generous in my life?

What should I do with you, O sadness, when you are the one who stole the years and left me alone, lost in the middle of the desert like an animal?
