I'm so sick and tired of people using color as the excuse for everything!

When you see someone do something kind, do you think... "what color was that deed"? White, Black, Brown, Yellow, or Green like a martian?

No! humanity has no color, its comes from the heart.

When you know someone is suffering from hunger, with a blindfold over your eyes, do you think: "I hope this person is the same color as me"?

No! That's not humanity. You feed the person because your spirit tells you that letting someone go hungry is not good.

Humanity has no color, it comes from the heart.

Or, if you hear a baby crying behind a wall partition, do you think, "what color is that baby," before you go see what's wrong? No, that's not humanity. You take care of the baby and don't think twice.

I am inspired by the color of humanity....

Whatever that color is, that's the color of this poem.
