What Changes?

A poem a day: Day 2

By Christian KollerPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

I always exist(ed)

But I’m not infinite, right?

Lately

Time has been slower, maybe frozen. No, not frozen,

too warm for that

But time has stopped

And yet, I’m getting older

What changes, then,

If it’s not getting colder?

What changes, then,

What’s inside me? My mind?

What changes, then,

When you’re stuck in time?

Day after Day

Each moment,

Like coming to a new place you feel you’ve been before.

But the only thing in common is you.

I guess that’s déjà vu.

I guess I don’t need my jacket anymore.
