What Awaits

The other side of heartache

The masters of sorrow

Getting their harshest mistake

Fearing its hand upon tomorrow

The end of the world of pain

Brings not with it a relief

Sweet salacious and insane

Offering little more than delicious grief

It waits for you to earn your way

Offering sweet and vile temptations

You even suspect there's a heavy price to pay

And your screams of torment are it's expectations

At journeys end you'll face two

One handle lives and the other won't let you through

It's on the other side of what's buried in you

The deep reward for the things that you do
