Discombobulation reigns
Intertwined amongst
Love, laughter, acceptance.

Sarcastic humor accompanies
Tears of grief, sadness, fear.
Your secrets are safe here
And so are you.

Leave judgement and conflict
At they gate.
They are unwelcome visitors
To be shot down
without warning.
A steady heart beats here.
The door is always open
You need only choose to enter.
Hot coffee and
A listening ear
Warm, soothing hugs
Are always ready
A steady heart beats here.
Work off your frustrations or
Just rest your weary soul
Let your spirit be nourished
A steady heart beats
Here in my home.
