Traveling far away from my current existence,

I leave to a spot I am well remembered.

flying across vast lands, and small people

I butterfly into a place I will always call home.

I step foot into plane central and forgotten memories come flooding back

No one is there to greet me, but they are there.

In the air, fresh with remembrance, down the escalator with smiling faces, and past the doors with an urgency to get home

I'm HOME, short lived as this trip may be it is well needed for my mentality

Nieces and Nephews I haven't seen, years lost from distance gained.

They welcome me in open arms, with grins spread wide, holding back joy.

Nothing has truly changed, such as true love should be.

Never a forgotten memory.
