As the clock strikes twelve,
A new year we welcome,
With hope in our hearts,
And joy in our steps.
The past is now behind us,
A clean slate is before us,
A chance to start a new,
To chase our dreams and pursue our passions.
So let us raise a glass,
To all that the future holds,
To love, to laughter, to friendship,
To all the stories yet untold.

Hope
In the midst of hunger, I pushed through the challenge. I was not meant to be there, it was for the rich, but I am. My apparels were worn out, my bare sole had almost taken over underneath my shoes. I had no penny to offer the cobbler. I just want to earn the teachers knowledge. He told me that if I do, I shall buy better shoes.
