a Days of the Week Poem

On and on, the days go by -- a moment at a time.

Just for fun, while we spin around the Sun, say this handy rhyme:

Sunday is a fun day to rest, or sing, or pray.

Monday is one day that won't go away.

Tuesday is a true day to eat a tasty meal.

Wednesday is a friends' day -- imaginary or real.

Thursday is a words' day, for writing down a thought.

Friday is a fine day, because we get the weekend off.

Saturday matters in a way that's very nice, because the week is over, but begins again tonight!

Those seven days make up the week; there are 52 per year. The whole world shares the day, whether far or near.
