WE WILL FIGHT

If this government thinks, for one second, that

We will lay down and quietly submit

While a supremely fascist court takes away

Our basic human rights

They are deluded, sadistic, and ignorant

Because every single day,

With every breath, in every imaginable way

WE WILL FIGHT.

We will wreck their economy

We will revolutionize

We will protest

We will destroy patriarchal ties and

WE WILL FIGHT.

We will abort these people

Before their terms are over

Out of their roles in government

We will reclaim our history and our timeline and

WE WILL FIGHT.

We will rip their hands off our bodies

We will gut them of their power

We will topple their political pedestals

We will remind every single one of them why

They must always choose us, if they want our money

They must always choose women’s rights

Because this decision affects us more than it does them

And we will not be silenced or forgotten

Because we have nothing left to lose, so now

WE WILL FIGHT.

They cannot control our fate or make us afraid

Without our consent

And we are not afraid of

Religious oppressors, we have

Fought this war already before

And won by a landslide.

We did it then, my brothers and sisters, and we will do it again.

WE WILL FIGHT.

This land, this country was founded on the basis

Of freedom from religious oppression

Of all kinds, even those who pretend

They can command the will of God through a white man's hands

And in their arrogance, think they speak for the Hebrew Christ

And yet as they try, and Jesus, no matter how hard they try

To strip away our free will

They will instead find an ugly, nasty, dangerous surprise 

Because no matter what they do to us

We will not be stopped, or pushed aside 

We will shout, we will scream, we will overcome and

WE WILL FIGHT.

The populations of this nation

Sees through their web of self-serving, indulgent lies

Pretending to care when in reality

They resent all of our powerful women

For having basic, voting, autonomous rights.

For what belongs to us and always has,

We will continue demanding what is rightfully ours and

WE WILL FIGHT.

They may choose to hate us for daring to be soveriegn

Without begging or pleading for their permission

To make our own life-changing decisions

They claim they own every pregnant person

That SHE is a property of the government,

Only fit for breeding the next consumerist generation, but

They don’t know how massive of a war they’ve started

They have no idea the scope, scale or size

Because everyday, always,

SEVEN MILLION WOMEN

In every conceivable way

For the rest of our lives...

WE WILL FIGHT!!
