We’ve learned that

Hope is not written

In the sand

Because it would

Blow away

Erased in the

Slightest breeze

But it’s written

In the stars

A message

Written in the

Consolations

A gift for the

World to see

Shining light

In the darkest

Corners.

We’ve learned

That even in a pandemic

A single dream can

Light the way

To a new kind

Of victory

The way a single

Candle can light

A room.

We’ve learned

That children

Still color the world

With Beauty and hope

Painting the future

In bright shades

Of love and compassion.

We’ve learned

All the greatest

Adventures require

Is not a mask

Or a crowded freeway

But a favorite book

A comfy spot

And the ability

To paint

Your imagination

In vivid color.
