We Try
A Short poem for introspective realists
By Simran DanielPublished about a year ago • 1 min read
We try to understand,
When all we want,
Is to be understood.
We seek validation,
Under the mask of nonchalance,
We are creatures of mystery,
We seek comfort in pain,
And sanity in insane,
We live judging others,
Afraid to be judged,
We are such hypocrites,
We won't even accept we are one.
