Miss You Still

Dear Mom,

My brothers and I still talk about you even though you are gone.

We had some good times. You gave us the first drive-thru experience in the back of our old yellow station wagon. We did not care what movie was playing.

We had our blanket and pillows, a new way to watch a movie with popcorn. You and Dad were having your adult conversation in front of the station wagon.

You always cooked ten different foods for us to eat on Sundays. We always had something to eat at home.

You always let me sneaked into the fridge and eat up all the watermelon. You pretended you did not know who ate all the watermelon.

The best gift you gave me was a puppy on my graduation. Snowy was the best dog I ever had.

I may complain a lot as a teenager, but I would not trade you for another mom. You were the best mom, you did the best you could, and that's all that matters.

P.S. It's been over ten years since you passed away. We still miss you and reminisce about our time spent together.
