We're all the same in the end...

What does it matter if I believe in this or that? I don’t want to fight; I don’t want to argue. I understand you want to defend yourself.

But I stand ready to defend myself when someone wants to tear me down. Standing tall, looming over the rest, we butt heads with no end in sight.

The people that can’t stand as tall, the ones that can’t be as loud as us, sit and starve as we beg for their support. They play in the dirt while we shoot Nerf darts.

We’re two halves of the same whole. Two peas in a pod, always at each other’s throats. No one can stop us in our war against the same enemy. We won’t stop until the other disappears.

Only one person can win and when they do, they’ll find themselves standing amongst corpses. Alone on top of a hill that has seen centuries of arguing.

From a small hill now a giant jagged mountain filled with ice and snow. In an attempt to protect ourselves, we hurt everyone around us, imploding on ourselves to further our cause.

So now salute yourself, as you have won the war. You can now die happy, by yourself cold and alone on your cold icy mountain.

The cold creeps into your skin just like the others. You can see your breath just like the others. And your heart will stop just like the others.
