we'll drown

what's the use of racing up to the surface?

By MufiidaPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

we'll drown, anyway

too late to hinder disarray

we'll seek a photograph in gray

as we picture the earth on its way to decay

we'll drown, anyway

our senses have gone astray

it was your idea in the first place,

and there's a fine line between determined and insane

minds were empty, we failed to chase the prompts of the lane

home was a heartbeat away

we'll drown, anyway

what's the use of racing up to the surface

there's no time to think about

bringing your favorite suitcase

we'll do anything offhanded

unless you want to wretchedly visualize

our last breath paralyzed
