We are one

Together forever

By OzypamPublished 2 years ago • 4 min read

The basement, dark, cold and lonely,

My shadow, the only soul who knows my whereabouts,

Solemnly swears not to say a word to anyone,

And yet laughter echoes through the basement,

We were not alone but that was not a problem,

“Oh well”, We were extremely glad.

The prey has no knowledge,

Knowledge leads to power,

“Oh well”, my shrug demonstrates,

Truth, a sour candy to take,

A candy, my zealousness must abate

“Oh well”, comes to my thought.

Her laughter shows, she has no care about the world,

That was my problem.

How was that even allowed?

How do people go near her?

She shall face my judgement,

“Oh well”, joy bursts through my body.

Tolerance was not easy,

But the reward made me strong.

My presence she sensed,

But no one to be seen.

My shadow settles around her,

“Oh well”, comes to my thought.

We left, but shall be back,

The chase must go on.

Gave her more space to laugh,

Her laughter, my tolerance was tested.

My back turned from her,

“Oh well”, we shall see.

Went through my plans and saw my progress,

But deep down, not enough progress has been made,

Plans need adjustment,

These adjustments must be made as fast as we breathe

After a run or a more pleasurable sport on a bed.

“Oh well”, my thoughts say to me.

Hours pass by, my schedule stretched too far,

Make haste before the moon comes up,

Flashbacks of my errors,

No, schedules can be rearranged,

But more errors can be very costly.

“Oh well”, never shall that be.

The moon over my glares,

You must go, schedule can be rearranged

Chances passed by can draw you back

You must go, now the best chance presented.

Chances must be grasped and not let go.

“Oh well”, let us go.

“How can you do that to me”, she screams

Agony wrapped round her tone.

He stares, not a word to oppose her charges.

From the corner, my mouth turns up,

My shadow also relaxed at my back,

“Oh well”, we were extremely glad.

Phase one was complete.

The knowledge about the world,

She chooses not to know,

Her one and only error,

The cause of my judgement.

“Oh well”, maybe you should have heeded to my counsels.

To be honest, the chase has come to an end,

But my rules can be alternated.

My game can be changed.

Stuffs owned by me follow my rules.

The master, the creator,

“Oh well”, sucks for her, the predator has full control.

“You are an embarrassment”, her mother says

“We should have never had you”, her father says

Bafflement, her face shows

Too bad, there was more to come.

Too bad, no one was there for her anymore.

“Oh well”, She has to be strong to handle me.

The rope hangs from my hand,

“No”, she says as she sees the rope fall,

You are not allowed to do that,

Your soul, forever belongs to me.

Helpless, she zones out of the world.

“Oh well”, we have only just begun.

Now, she lacks people around her,

No more allowed to be part of groups,

No more allowed to belong,

Now, she knows how she makes others feel,

Now, she has knowledge of the world.

“Oh well”, too late now, no pardon for you.

“Leave me alone!”, she screamed.

No, my path must be followed,

Judgement must commence, not allowed to go scot free,

A table, her body must get used to for the next couple days,

Your soul, forever belongs to me.

“Oh well”, your judgement starts now.

“Why?”, she asks me

“We are over”, she tells me.

“We can never be over”, my mouth declares.

“We are over”, she argues.

Laughter escapes my throat,

“Oh well”, she really was a clueless one.

She screams loudly, but now agony forever stays by her

She cannot escape, nowhere to run,

Now she knows, we can never be over

Not when judgment had not been fully executed

Blood surrounds us, drowns us

“Oh well”, guess she needs to rest.

A month has passed but we are not done,

A year not even enough for what she has done.

Flashbacks pass through me

Energy gushes through my body as the remembrance happens

She really was a dreadful person

“Oh well”, no pardon for her

Her soul has become weak,

The judgement approaches an end.

What are we? You wonder,

“We are exes”, she says

“We are forever”, everyone knows

“Oh well” that was my problem, you can never run from your forever

But she executed such an unlawful act.

Years she made me search for her,

Errors she made me do,

She knew deep down she could not get too far

Deep down, she loved the chase

“Oh well”, the predator caught the prey.

“Mentally unstable”, she called me.

“Not acceptable”, she told everybody.

Peer groups steered cleared of me

No one glanced, talk less of a full look at me.

Reasons for the chase, she made the world hell for me.

“Oh well”, an eye for an eye.

She should have stayed, but went and ran

She brought about the game,

She brought about her shame,

Her parents and peers not bothered about her whereabouts,

Probably happy she cannot be found.

“oh well”, we are of the same feather now.

Scars scattered all over her body,

Her eyes vacant now,

Judgment has been executed,

Her soul completely now taken by me.

Her body, an empty vessel.

“oh well”, last stage must commence.

The forest the perfect place,

We can be part of nature wholly,

Her grave, perfectly constructed,

Her body, fully dressed, flowers everywhere.

Trees, observers to her funeral.

“oh well”, soon my dear, we shall be one.

Proof must be removed,

We must not be separated,

Autopsy cannot be done,

Autopsy destroys too much

Her beauty cannot be tampered.

“oh well”, proof must not be left at all.

My grave, next to hers,

The gun at my head,

Stood perfectly at angle my body can land accurately.

Boom! The gun sounds,

Last stage now complete.

“oh well” at last, we are one.
