The stress and the mess

that you see on TV

the quarrels and fights

and people wanting to be mask free

the disgust with those

who are apathetic at most

the fake fight for human rights

from those that are well off and like to boast

the real people that suffer

and are actually held back

living in bad conditions

and sleeping in sacks

no money, no job

no place to call their own

yet they are ridiculed

and put down

by the people that turned cold

it’s so sad to see

people step on the weak

what happened to honor

why do we turn the other cheek

when will we open our eyes to see

that this world is about us

and not only “me”
