“Being challenged in life
is inevitable. Being defeated
is optional.”
Even though life is unpredictable,
we do expect challenges to face us everyday.
We cannot change this
but we can change
how we react to these challenges.
We cannot stop these in our lives
but we can choose
not to be defeated by them.
Having a positive mindset
will keep us strong
so that when these ‘challenges’ do come
— we’ll be ready!
We can choose to see these
as stepping-stones and opportunities,
which will show
that we have Control of our lives,
both physically and mentally,
(as much as we can).
Determination and perseverance
will help us
to ‘rise’ to each challenge.
“We” are in charge!
