Howsoever it came,
By no thought it reared,
Beckoned to a glass,
Nurturer of hand, skin.
***
Now now
Are we?—let us choose
Beyond our quenching.
***
To the organs of the body she swims,
Swimming motion of libations...
In a flicker our tears, swimmingly
***
Among peaks and valleys,
Wandering the desert, soul-searching,
In need of injection, snapshot, photosynthesis...
Taking the muse for a walk.
***
Our esprit takes in the cry
Of a sky not alone.

Author's Note: This is an old poem I recently stumbled upon. I'm in the process of finding and editing old writings. I likely was influenced by Ralph Waldo Emerson's poem, also titled 'Water'. Thanks for reading. I'll take criticism; subscription; coin. :)
