I see you skulking in the shadows, a hideous parasite,
Waiting for your next meal to blithely sashay by,
Pouncing upon younger prey, till they catch the stale routine,
You orbit people’s fresher lives, a doomsday satellite.
Sucking in their innocence, a terrible quatrain,
Watch your sad excuses fall like toxic acid rain.
No one needs mansplaining, your illusive influence,
Karma farming gets you likes, but nothing real remains-
Do those new skins help you eat, or pay the rent that’s due?
Allegiance to the level-up? Please make it make sense.
Dirty dishes, baby’s coming, you’re sucked into your game,
Watch your sad excuses fall like toxic acid rain.
So what your dad’s a drunk, and mom’s a prostitute?
Better than your avocation, as sentient couch cushion,
Failure to launch? That bar is floating on a magma reservoir,
A life lived to utmost laziness, is one alone and destitute.
What friends? Your droning whine’s a mawkish trite refrain,
Watch your sad excuses fall like toxic acid rain.
