Wasn't Worth The Save

But She Was

By Shyanna GastonPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

She was told she wasn't worth the save.

She was just a waste of space.

That's why the smile on her lips,

Never matched the scars on her hips.

She never felt like she was good enough.

And the world was better off.

She didn't know which method to use.

But we found her at the end of a noose.

Her wrists and thighs had some stories to tell.

But they just brushed off the thought she was stuck in a cell.

She didn't think anyone would care to notice.

Like she deserved this.

She sunk down to her knees.

Hit the bottom of the sea.

She got tired of getting up to be knocked down.

So she said goodbye and let herself drown.
