The heat of the desert Sun
The breath of the summer breeze
Same as home but with the brutality of war
Oh to be in the desert for the Sun and the sand
Hunting the great desert tortoise instead of man
Home is where the heat shines on youth
Peace lives there with a family
Where you rest and cry
For the brothers forever home in your desert dreams.

James A Harp
I enjoy writing stories for my children and they keep me guessing on what they want to hear about next. We have been to space, attacked by dinosaurs, and dug holes to the middle of the Earth (where lollipops are if you didn't know).
