Warm Anatomy

Have you ever felt a place cozy enough to hold you perfectly?

Somewhere you can simply be, where love runs unconditional

Like a river to a sea.

To say that this could be found some place outside of me

Would be wrong, because I’ve only ever felt that clam

Inside of my body.

Does the shore let me play like a child at heart?

Flowing freely as the waves rise and then as easily they drop.

By the vessel which i’m consumed is whispered sweetly so it’s never forgot:

Fully accepted, I won’t neglect you.

Safe is this container, I've always kept you.

In raging waters I will leave you not

The gifts you given me more precious than knees
