War On Terror
...is a war on fear
A war on terror, a fight so bold,
Against an enemy that can't be controlled.
A battle in the shadows, with no clear foe,
A war for peace, but where does it go?
A clash of cultures, a clash of beliefs,
A fight for freedom, but at what cost and griefs?
Innocent lives caught in the crossfire,
Families shattered, futures expire.
The fear, the anger, the pain and the rage,
A cycle of violence, with no end to the age.
Where do we draw the line, when does it cease,
And let sanity and peace prevail in release?
A war on terror, a war on fear,
A struggle to hold our values near.
May we find a way to break this chain,
And let humanity's goodness rise again.
