War and peace

A chance to heal, and end all life

In green fields, once we dance and play,

Now lie the ruins of a faded day.

The drums of war are beating,

When armies clash, when nations pray.

The cries of mothers, the smell of blood,

Children's tears, the dust of floods.

The winds of war, they howl and wail,

Hope is lost and all is gone.

But in the hearts of those who struggle,

The spark of peace burns even brighter.

Dreaming of ending this long strife,

A chance to heal, and end all life.

Guns fall silent, flags unfurl,

As peace prevails, all is still.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing sweetly,

When we rebuild, everything is done.

The world is healed, the wars are over,

Peace and love have just begun.

Children play, mothers laugh,

When we rebuild, it's all worth it.
