Walking With My Eyes Closed

In the realm of darkness, where shadows play,

I stroll through the twilight, in a curious way.

With eyelids sealed tight, shutting out the view,

I wander unknown paths, seeking something new.

With each cautious step, my senses come alive,

The world transforms, as I dare to strive.

In this realm of trust, my sight is denied,

But my heart, it beats louder, it cannot hide.

With my eyes closed, I'm freed from constraint,

Every sound, every scent, my senses acquaint.

The whisper of leaves beneath my feet,

The symphony of wind, melodies sweet.

I touch the rough bark of ancient trees,

Their wisdom extending through centuries.

I feel the warmth of sunlight on my skin,

As nature's embrace unfolds from within.

In this tender darkness, my imagination blooms,

Visions dance before me, like ethereal plumes.

I witness colors unseen, painted by my mind,

Experiencing reality, in a way so kind.

For with my eyes closed, I am not bound,

To judgments or expectations that surround.

My perspective expands, as limitations rust,

And enlightenment blossoms, in this inner trust.

So let me walk with eyes closed, into the unknown,

Embracing the mysteries that are yet to be shown.

For it is in darkness, that true sight is gained,

And the soul's deepest yearnings are unrestrained.
