Walk of No Shame

Gone Without a Name

Top Story - April 2024

Exquisite was the night we tasted together

Claws raking through your back, you made me sing and purr

Lingering is for those who wish for things to lose

I prefer my freedom; it’s what I always choose

Pushing the door softly; we’re officially through

Surely you won’t allow my discourtesy to

Eclipse these memories. Sleep well, handsome. Adieu

Truth hurts, and always leaves room for more. Yet the heart wants what the heart wants. Lovely sentiments, freedom eliminates pain. Congrats.

This is great Lily! The clever wordplay, the short and sharp lines, the rhyme to give it flow. “Lingering is for those who wish for things to lose” is such a wonderful line too. Nicely done:)
