Walk Alone

Solitude is an art

By Rohitha LankaPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Walk alone.

Solitude is an art..

Keep your mind away from evil

people.

Even Charlie Chaplin, who shared laughter with the world,

lived his life in pain.

"I like to laugh with the mirror, because when I laugh, the mirror laughs without crying."

"I like to walk in the rain

because then the world

doesn't see that I am crying."

These are Chaplin's words..

Now your heart..

Isn't it crying, asking for peace?

Is it pleading, saying that you cannot bear this loneliness..

Think a little...

That beautiful valley invites you to rest.

That bookshelf will give you knowledge worth a world..

The wild flowers are asking you to come and look at them..

Enter that courtyard and meditate there.

Why don't you go and read some old stories to that old friend?

Where have you been since you were little?

Let's look at the sky tonight.

Not only will you see stars and constellations,

But you'll also see falling meteors.

Even if you don't know it, the sun is also a star.

Not only that, but old people who have been neglected by people are also waiting to tell you their stories.

Be alone for a while.

Travel alone for a while.

Go on a pilgrimage.

All three minds will be at peace.

The evils of fate will be defeated.

Your soul will be extinguished.

Victory to you!

May you be united.
