Why are Americans so blindly loyal to the flag?
No one really understands why and nor do I
Some say the military, others say because I’m a Patriot
but is that really it? I doubt it
However, let’s put it this way
Why are two buildings prioritized to
invade and steal from another country. How
about the systemic oppression of those who
are different from us in skin color, gender,
sexuality, and socioeconomic status.
As Americans we shouldn’t be so
closed minded and judgmental
We are not the supreme nation, so we should not be
Playing Rambo, Judge Dredd, or John McClain
We should care for people so that the rest
does not think we are ethnocentric self-indulgers
