Wake me up

A gloomy dream

In my dream, I was lost in a foggy maze

The walls were tall and gray, and the ground was ablaze

I wandered through the twisted paths, searching for a way out

But the more I walked, the more I doubted

I heard a voice that called my name

But when I turned around, there was no one to blame

The air was thick with sorrow and despair

As if the dream itself was filled with care

I stumbled upon a pond, its waters dark and still

I saw my reflection, and it gave me a chill

My face was gaunt and pale, my eyes sunken and hollow

I realized then that I was feeling very low

I fell to my knees and let out a cry

The pain in my heart was almost too much to bear

I wished that I could wake up and escape

From this sad and gloomy dreamscape

But alas, I was stuck in this nightmare, unable to flee

So I closed my eyes and surrendered, waiting for the sweet release

Of dawn's first light to set me free.
