Vultures are Circling and Parrots Sing Their Praise
A Nasty Poem
i don't know if i've ever seen such a lazy bunch of birds before
following the flock wherever they go
splat shittin' on anyone
because big bird said go, no?
what a disgusting smell
complacency at its finest
if he says "flap", you'll double time
big chickens
scared of a little blaze, rage, uprising
but those are too big emotions for the overstimulated crowd, no?
flying in circles all day sure gets tiring, doesn't it
do you need a nap? a valium? something to take the sting of reality off?
where do you feel the faux fear?
do you need me to rub your ruffled back a lil' so you feel better about flapping your wings without even bothering to fly
don't worry, the big bad wolf won't eat you, he'll just toss you on a crocodile coop with the rest
don't worry, you don't even have to say anything, your turn will come too
isn't that what you want? to be on the side of humanity? behind cages and helpless?
no?
then why are you acting so helpless? scared to take a risk? scared to hurt someone's feelings?
well guess what
charred bodies and bullet holes hurt just a tad more
but don't worry, i won't throw that in your face, we wouldn't want you to get spooked too much and shove your head up your ass again
