Voices In My Head

Voices Without Bodies

By Dan R FowlerPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

Voices In My Head

Within my mind, deep down inside,

There are voices that never subside.

They speak to me granting inclusion,

Oddly understanding my opposition.

To be asked to stay behind the wall,

Life and circumstances, it happens to all.

Within the inner room where stories are alive,

Is seldom seen but they for me to arrive.

I close my eyes and listen intently,

Words spoken openly and never accidentally.

These voices without bodies meander around,

Some float or sit or stand on the ground.

They share with me their world’s stories,

Of fanciful things even heaven’s glories.

So I’ll go with them each time that I can,

And tell their tales of the lives they began.
