Anthi & M _- _ _ _ hereby invite you

To their autumn wedding in Athens Greece

A little owl will usher you in blue

Its plumage stating everlasting peace

You will be surrounded by olive trees

The most beautiful woman in the world

Will grace us by her presence and light breeze

As your minds and hearts and lungs become whirled

The fare will be ketogenic and fair

Organic meats vegetables and nuts

In Greek attire and special fruits with care

As health will be the fathomed richer cuts

We will rejoice and be merry with love

For Anthi’s happiness will be the trove

...

You are hereby all invited to Anthi’s & M’s wedding that will take place in Goddess Athena’s garden on September 5th, 2021. If you wish to attend, in spirit, that is, please send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] and your name will be added to the guest list, which will be published at a later date.

There are over 20 stories so far on Vocal relating to Anthi & M, Greece, as well as several other characters, and those regarding the meeting between Anthi & M and their life together in the form of poems. The first 13-part series (Cryssarina's First Visit / Eléni’s First Visit), which includes Anthi & M is already on Vocal. The second 37-part series (Eléni and M Move to Athens), which will appear on Vocal by mid-July, and the third series (Anthi & M: Journal of Love in Greece), which has 37 parts as of June 17, with a part being added every day and which will appear on Vocal by mid-August, refer almost exclusively to Anthi & M. The most beautiful woman in the world in the sonnet above refers to Goddess Athena, of course. The first series recounts her story.

M had decided to keep his full name secret, perhaps until the wedding, hence the underscores for the missing letters. The hyphen only indicates that there are two syllables for the sake of the sonnet.
